Equipment Skids & Pump Skids
Pierce Steel is proficient in fabricating engineered equipment skids, shipping skids, baseplates and soleplates of all kinds to exact tolerances. Our base frames create a level foundation for many types of equipment including compressors, turbines, generators, heat exchangers, pumps, tanks and motors of all sizes. We can also make complete process piping skids for drop-in place installation with minimal field connections.
Our skids are durable and reliable and are typically made from heavy steel plate, structural beams, hollow structural section (HSS) tubing and pipe. Several materials and finishes are available such as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, powder coating or galvanizing. Our skids are used in several industries including:
