Blast Furnaces & Kiln Parts
Pierce Steel offers fabrication services for rebuilding Blast Furnaces and Kilns. A Blast Furnace is lined with refractory brick and used to convert iron oxides into liquid iron. A kiln is a type of thermally insulated chamber used to complete hardening, drying and chemical changes. Blast Furnace and Kiln maintenance often require repair and replacement of refractory and structural components including refractory anchors, water-cooled door frames, lift assemblies, hoods and ductwork. Pierce Steel has many years of experience rebuilding and installing these components. We can offer a site visit to review the scope of work to be included in your next rebuild.

We also make load rated work tables and mold tables. Our OSHA compliant work tables can be made to any size and capacity. Certificate of conformance for the design is included with all orders.
